In the era of prohibition, a new establishment gave rise with secret passwords, hidden doors, and unbridled entertainment! Speakeasy's were the answer to the delegalization of alcohol in the 1920s and while times have changed we soon enter the 20s again and you don't have to miss out on the fun and adventure of a speakeasy.
They pulled all the stops to ensure that you feel absolutely transported to the past inside with gorgeously wallpapered walls, antique settings, and ambient lighting that really completes it. Enter Nightjar, Edmonton's own 20s styled speakeasy - with a modern twist of course! Located just off the corner of Whyte Ave at 8130 Gateway Boulevard the inconspicuous door featuring a knocker is how you enter but be sure you have the password; no password, no entry! Just text 587-600-2007 to get the password for the evening (it changes nightly). Once you enter, get ready for your jaw to drop at the gold lit stairwell with a stunning chandelier.
