Shipping Standards

Please read all our policies, terms & FAQS carefully before placing your order. Please ensure you check back prior to ordering as changes may be made to our policies, terms, and FAQs.

ORDERING:

All funds are listed and charged in Canadian Currency; please check with your credit card company to get their exact rate of exchange for the day.

If after placing your order the item(s) that you have purchased are temporarily or permanently unavailable, we will contact you via e-mail with the option to modify or cancel your order. If you have questions regarding your order or the merchandise you wish to order please contact us prior to your purchase.

Please adhere to the size charts on our site and the how to measure guide listed with the products. Please be aware manufacturers size charts may sometimes be a little off but we do the best we can.  We cannot be responsible for a small difference.  Also consider if item has stretch or not in the fabric.  Any questions on fit please contact us beforehand via the site. We do not always list t-shirt measurements but mention if they fit small, true to size or run larger than normal. Please check the size you usually buy for a t-shirt.

If you have questions or concerns regarding sizing please contact us with information such as the item you are interested in and your measurements and we will help you figure out what size you need.

 

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY:

Orders are processed Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Orders placed before 12pm MST are shipped* the same business day, with orders placed after 12pm MST being shipped the following business day (Monday - Friday, excluding holidays). Orders placed during a site wide sale (such as Boxing Day) may take up to 7 business days to be processed. Please keep in mind that shipping estimates are calculated from the day after the parcel has been dropped off at a Canada Post Office to the delivery date, not from the day your order was place.

* If selecting FedEx as your carrier, please be aware that it will be processed with regular order but will not be collected by FedEx until the next business day.

CANADIAN ORDERS:

$10.00 flat rate shipping within Canada is shipped via Canada Post Expedited. The shipping time for your order will vary depending on your postal code. Below are listed general guidelines that can be expected. For a more accurate shipping time please contact us via customerservice@retroglam.com and we can better assist you.

Shipping days start the day after drop off per Canada post not including shipping day as part of their shipping terms. 

British Columbia - 2 to 3 days
Alberta - 1 to 2 days
Saskatchewan - 2 to 3 days
Manitoba - 2 to 4 days
Ontario - 4 to 6 days
Quebec - 4 to 6 days
Newfoundland and Labrador - 6 to 13 days
New Brunswick - 6 to 8 days
Prince Edward Island - 6 to 8 days
Nova Scotia - 6 to 7 days
Yukon Territory - 4 to 13 days
Northwest Territories - 3 to 13 days
Nunavut Territory - 10 to 13 days

 

Canadian orders totalling over $200.00 (not including the cost of GST, HST, or PST) will receive free shipping through Canada Post - Expedited. For the free shipping we will not ship priority or through another carrier but you are welcome to purchase those shipping options and pay the charges associated if you prefer faster delivery or a different carrier (If customer decides to proceed with a return or exchange the shipping charges to Retro Glam and back will still be the responsibility of the customer.). All taxes charged in your province of residence will be added to your order.

 

UNITED STATES ORDERS:

The most economical option is Canada Post Small Packet Air however there is NO TRACKING or insurance available with this option so you will not receive a tracking number and if chosen it is the customer's responsibility to remain patient as we cannot track this parcel. Retro Glam will not be able to refund or replace any order lost, stolen or damaged if you choose this method as it is uninsured. Items shipped via Small Packet Air can be expected to take anywhere from 6 to 21 business days.

CANADA POST EXPEDITED has tracking, so you will receive a tracking number via email from Canada Post and your order can be expected within 5-6 business days after shipment. THIS IS THE SAFEST OPTION and will ensure if your parcel is lost, stolen, or damaged that we can take steps to rectify the situation.

You are welcome to use the other shipping options available on our site. Shipping is calculated by weight and location. U.S. orders may experience a delay in customs or a customs fee. Retro Glam is not responsible for customs delays or customs fees because they are out of our control. Orders shipped to the United States are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. These charges will be calculated by the carrier and billed directly to you. While these charges are usually not exorbitant, please be aware that they do exist. We have experienced a higher volume of reported customs fees associated with orders that are shipped through UPS so please be aware if selecting UPS as your shipping method. An invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees. Please note: Retro Glam is unable to provide estimates for any customs fees. Check with your local customs office for more information.

** We have noticed that orders under $200.00 have not been receiving additional duties, taxes, or fees so happy shopping lovelies! **

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

International orders are shipped via Canada Post. The most economical option is Canada Post Small Packet Air, however there is no tracking or insurance available with this option and if chosen it is the customer's responsibility to remain patient as we cannot track this parcel. Canada Post lists its International Small Packet Air delivery standard as 6 to 12 business days but we have noted that orders may take as long as 21 business days to certain locations including Australia and New Zealand. Retro Glam will not be able to refund or replace any order lost, stolen or damaged if you choose this method as it is uninsured, though packages rarely go missing and usually just take a little longer to arrive. GROUND options for international shipping can be very lengthy (up to 3 months) and you are advised against choosing that option. Canada Post Tracked has tracking which you will receive via email from Canada Post and your order can be expected within 8-14 business days after shipment. Shipping is calculated by weight and location.

International orders may experience a delay in customs or a customs fee. Retro Glam is not responsible for customs delays or customs fees because they are out of our control. Orders shipped internationally are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. These charges will be calculated by the carrier and billed directly to you. While these charges are usually relatively small, please be aware that they do exist. An invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees. Please note: Retro Glam is unable to provide estimates for any customs fees. Check with your local customs office for more information.

 

DELIVERY ISSUES:

Undelivered/Refused Packages Orders that have been returned to us marked as undelivered by the carrier will be handled as follows:

  • If Retro Glam has made an error in the delivery address, we will re-send the package to the correct address at no cost to you. If the customer whom made the original order supplied the wrong address then that customer will need to pay for the actual cost of re-shipping, plus any return-to-sender fees charged by the carrier.

Refusing or failing to claim a package does not mean a refund is entitled. Refused or unclaimed packages that are returned to us by the carrier are subject to a 20% restocking fee** plus the cost of shipping and handling. When we receive the refused package back, a Retro Glam credit code will be issued via email for the remainder of the purchase total.

**The restocking fee covers the costs that we have incurred during the fulfillment of your order, including but not limited to: merchant processing fees, wages, transportation fees, inventory shortage, and materials.

 

In Store Pick Up

All orders are processed in the order in which they arrive. In store pick up orders are typically ready for pick up either the same day (if placed before 12pm MST, Monday through Friday excluding holidays) but delays of 7 business days may be experienced if the order is placed during a site wide sale (such as Boxing Day). Please ensure you have received an email notification (Order ***** has been shipped) prior to coming to our brick and mortar store to retrieve your order. As well, please bring with you photo ID and your order information.
