Q. What does it mean to order from Canada?
A. If you are Canadian it means not having to deal with pesky currency conversions, fees, duties, and all the likes! You’ll also be supporting an independent business in Canada! As an international customer? You’ll be dealing with one of Canada’s original pinup shops (established in 1999, online since 2012), supporting an independent business, and also get to benefit from the currently weak Canadian dollar when it comes to the exchange rate!
Q. Will you guys mark my parcel as a gift?
A. In short, no. In long, it is illegal for us to do so and if a business or individual gets caught doing so they can face fees and fines for doing so. We prefer to stay on the legal side of things so all parcels get marked correctly in accordance with the law.
Q. An item or size is sold out, will you be restocking it? Can you special order one for me?
A. If an item is popular enough, or a staple to the shop (like the Heidi dress by Pinup Couture) we will definitely be restocking! If you are interested in a specific item please don’t hesitate in contacting us to let us know and we can give you more information on whether it will be restocked and if so a timeline it can be expected! If the item you are interested in is listed as on sale it most likely will not be restocked but it may be available in our brick and mortar store so please email so we can check our stock for you. Special orders can sometimes be made but please be aware that a non-refundable deposit may be required.
Q. I just saw there is a discount/sale code available, can you please apply it to my order I already placed?
A. Discount and sale codes are non-retroactive and will not be applied to orders after the fact.
Q. Do you accept Visa gift/Mastercard Prepaid cards?
A. Unfortunately if your gift card does not have an expiration date our fraud prevention system won't allow them to be used through our website. To use a gift card/prepaid credit card please select to process it through Paypal instead.
Q. I’m trying to find a brand and you don’t have it!
A. Oh no! Well definitely contact us as we would love to know about this. We love hearing from our customers on what goods they would like to see in store!
Q. I’m not sure of the exact colour the item I’m looking at is. How can I be sure the colour will be the same as when it gets here?
A. Every computer monitor is calibrated more or less differently. We make sure that the monitor we use is as close to true as we can get but if you’re viewing an item on our website on a monitor that is calibrated differently than ours then there may be a slight colour discrepancy. To avoid this make sure your computer monitor is calibrated properly. We will also note on the item description if the true colour looks slightly different than in the photo.
Q. I want to exchange something I bought online at RetroGlam.com when I visit your brick & mortar store Rowena next.
A. We no longer have our brick and mortar location. All returns are processed the same way so popping on over to our Returns and Exchanges section is the way to start! If you want to drop your return off in person after you fill out an RA form that can potentially be coordinated - be sure to list this in your RA request and then we can reach out to you to make arrangements.
Q. How do I know which size to buy?
A. Be sure to always check the sizing chart! We list every item with the manufacturers size chart and also note in product descriptions if the item is sized smaller or larger than that brand typically makes items to be. As well, we are more than willing to check measurements ourselves to ensure fit for you! Just be sure to contact us and let us know your measurements as well as the item(s) you are interested in having measured!
Q. Can I cancel my order?
A. No, once an order has been placed the customer is responsible for the goods and all orders are subject to the standard return policy.
Q. Do you do wholesale?
A. Not at this time and we do not give out supplier information. Thank you for your understanding in this regard.
